International Scope

"As one of the 15 largest consultancy companies in the world we are active in a variety of domains and almost all geographies. ISAlliance is unique in its ability to bring together technology providers, technology users, researchers and policy makers."

DHS Asst. Secretary for Infrastructure Protection, Bob Stephan

Bob Stephan, DHS Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection has traveled to Ottawa several times at the request of the ISAlliance to build International networks in protecting shared Key Resources.

Protecting the Internet is Inherently an International Effort
The internet is international entity, so too is the ISAlliance. While the ISAlliance is physically based in the United States, its membership operates internationally and the goal is international security for all its trusted partners.

This philosophy is in complete concert with the global theme of the U.S. National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace, which states:

"America's cyberspace is linked to that of the rest of the world. Attacks cross borders at lightning speed...America must be ready to lead global efforts, working with governments and industry alike, to secure cyberspace that is vital to the operation of the world's economy and markets. "

The ISAlliance has member companies on four continents. There has always been a non-U.S. based company on the Executive Committee. The ISAlliance believes the international communication it fosters is critical to the long-term success of achieving greater information security. Moreover, international representation and voice more realistically addresses the many difficult problems which face all users of the Internet.
