Today’s increased scrutiny on governance and compliance has resulted in additional audit requirements regarding the privacy/security of systems and the integrity of data.  Outsourcing functions or processes may also introduce new audit requirements.  Technical tools can help manage the audit process. 

The EIP on Auditing Compliance will focus on the legal issues surrounding audits and associated operational and policy considerations. It will also identify technical solutions that may be utilized to ease audit burdens.
