In December, 2006 the ISAlliance presented to the members of the Department of Commerce Economic Security Working Group (ESWG). This group convenes quarterly and brings together experts from government and private industry to collaborate on a host of infrastructure and cyber security issues.

Consistent with the overall message of the ISAlliance, the presentation focused on the evolving threats to information security, the value of best practices, and using market incentives to govern cyber security as opposed to more traditional forms of regulation.
